Diana Gratiela Berbecaru is a Research Assistant in the Department of Automatics and Informatics at Politecnico di Torino, is a member of the Computer and Network Security Group (TORSEC). Her research interests lie in designing distributed systems exploiting Publick Key Infrastructures (PKIs) and digital signatures. She investigated and obtained also research results in designing and evaluating network protocols and applications that are secure, while maintaining acceptable levels of performance.

Diana Gratiela Berbecaru holds a Ph.D in Computer Science from Politecnico di Torino and a MS from University of Craiova, Romania. She was born and grew up in Craiova, Romania. She is an alumnus of ``Colegiul National Carol I Craiova''.
