Course evaluation
  • written exam, or individual homework (design of a security solution or evaluation of a security product)
  • schedule of exam; booking is compulsory via the POLITO teaching portal
  • homeworks:
    • the homeworks may be requested only before the first exam session (because it's a "phylosophical" choice between taking the exam in normal form or being so much interested in this subject to select a specific topic to investigate for the homework)
    • if a student requests a homework and doesn't deliver it within the deadline then he/she cannot get a new one and must take the exam in normal form
    • the choice of a homework is valid for one academic year, i.e. once being assigned a homework the student cannot change her/his mind and take the exam in normal form
    • a presentation and a video of the project SECURED, which offers various opportunities for thesis
    • the SHIELD project which is concerned wth security for and by SDN/NFV networks, offering various topics for thesis and research contracts
    • LaTeX skeleton of the final report for a homework
  • exam sessions: for this course, there are four calls, labelled A and B (February), C (June), and E (September).
